I got this with my first autofocus Nikon to take advantage of TTL and matrix flash. It’s a great all-round flash with a rotating tilting head, built in white card and wide angle diffuser. It only suffers in comparison with the latest Nikon flashes in terms of using the old multi flashes for red eye, which newer Nikon cameras no-longer use and in not being a DX unit and therefore compliant with the digital SLR’s. But a great flash unit to have as a standby or for multi flash use. This flash has a powerfull AF assist lamp which helps in low light situations, better than the SB28 or SB80.
