The following are links to equipment manufacturers I use, suppliers I have found provide a high quality of service and also sites which I have found interesting and informative. If you have or know of other sites you feel I should reference please contact me at andrew@pilkophotography.co.uk, Thanks.

Grays of Westminster - Becoming the home of Nikon photography in the UK. If in particular your looking for historical Nikon then Grays your place.

Bob Rigby Photographic - I purchased both my Wimberley and Hoodman products from Bob Rigby, they were instock and delivered the next day, this is the service you often require as a photographer..

Mifsuds - It may be a small shop in Brixham but it's an Aladdin's cave, goods prices and advise with a fantastic second hand stock. Accurate descriptions of stock make them a safe mail order company. I've never been disappointed.

Nikon - Since I swapped to Nikon twenty year's ago I've never looked back. In some respects Canon may technically be more advanced but I find that the solidly built Nikons with their backwards compatibility of lenses suits me.

SURREY PHOTOGRAPHY - A supplier of quality secondhand Nikon and Canon equipment, plus a few other items. Peter who runs the business is a photographer not just another salesman as such he is informative as well as honest with his advice and descriptions. Well worth a call.

Nikon Owners Club International - If your serious about Nikon then join, get updates on new products, preferential insurance and repairs plus 'Nikon Owner' magazine that has some very informative insights into well known people who also use Nikon.

Lastolite - Well known for their collapsible reflectors, backgrounds and other reflectors/studio equipment. Their smaller reflectors are very handy when out and about and you want to get some light into shady areas for closeups of nature.

MX2 - When filling the fridge up on film go to MX2, great prices and well packaged when mailed, also the best source for refills for your inkjet printer. Don't forget they also do great prices on DVD's as well.

LFPS - Leicester Forrest Photographic Society, it's always worth while joining your local photographic society, you'll meet some great people see many different styles of photographs, go to some very entertaining and informative talks, plus you'll improve your own photographic knowledge and skills. What ever you'r level enter the clubs competitions and get involved, it's great fun.

Peak Imaging - For many years now I've been using the Sheffield photolab of Propix which are now available under the name of Peak Imaging. Results are consistantly high from both their developing and printing. Transparancies and negatives are reurned in high quality sheets and machine prints are as good as many hand made prints from other companies I've seen. A fast and repeatable service backs up this quality.
