What a great camera body,
this is a true professionals camera. I like a camera that has a solid feel and
some weight to it, I find this gives confidence in the robustness and capability
of the camera. The ergonomics of the F5 are excellent with a well molded shape
textured grip.
The F5 has one of the best metering systems around with its multi sensor RGB
system that uses colour information as part of its light level readings, this
means the system is almost faultless and can be trusted all the time to give
great results.
The F5 has the sensational motor drive capability of upto 8 frames per second,
which gives you the opportunity in motorsport and live action wildlife photography
to take sequences that on previous bodies were unthinkable.
The enhancements to matrix flash metering mean that the F5 can produce great
fill-in flash shots thanks to the preflash system of current Nikon flashes.
