I stayed away from getting a 300mm lens for some time until I could find a good example of the legendary f2.8 with the AFS focusing system. I wasn’t to be disappointed, everything you hear about this lens is true it’s one of the best. Crisp sharp well defined images, this is a perfect lens for sport and nature photography and works well in combination with the TC14E 1.4x teleconverter to give you a 420mm lens without any noticeable loss in picture quality. |
