105 f2.8 Macro

Macro photography takes some getting used to but this lens helps. You get really really really sharp images from this lens. The wonder of macro photography s that you produce images that apparently have more detail and information in than you normally see. With a wide angle landscape shot you are recording what you see, but with Macro photography you start to see things in a different way. This means trying different approaches and getting the lens out more, and with this lens it’s worth it.
Lighting is all important with Macro photography as your quite close to the subject, requires the camera to be mounted on a stern tripod and the use of a cable release or the cameras timer to reduce camera shake. It’s also best to lockup the cameras mirror. To get the best out of this lens when photographing insects etc really requires a ring flash or dedicated macro flash bracket arrangement.
